At Guardians Events we are deeply honored to announce a truly special event — the arrival of Laboratorium Pieśni, the remarkable ethno choir of wild feminine voices, gracing Slovenia for the very first time.
The concert will take place on Saturday, 18 April 2026, at Festival Hall in Ljubljana, where the group will guide you on a soul-stirring, heart-opening journey through traditional folk songs from around the world. An unforgettable evening of music and magic awaits.
On the morning of the concert day, a traditional singing workshop will take place in Ljubljana, led by the founders of Laboratorium Pieśni.
Laboratorium Pieśni – Song Laboratory (world/ethno/spiritual/mystic folk music) is a female group of singers from Poland, created in 2013. Using traditional, polyphonic singing they perform songs from all over the world, mainly: Ukraine, Balkans, Belarus, Georgia, Scandinavia, Poland and many other places. They sing a capella as well as with shaman drums and other ethnic instruments (shruti box, kalimba, flute, gong, zaphir and koshi chimes, singing bowls, rattles etc.), creating a new space in a traditional song, adding voice improvisations, inspired by sounds of nature, often intuitive, wild and feminine.
The traditional songs are often brought from their source – different regions of Poland, Europe and world, by the members of the group – having their unique history and evolving in the course of work. Finally, they are performed in a new form – traditional or enriched.
Laboratorium Pieśni creates deeply immersive musical worlds, theatrical performances, and stories of ancient rituals that are disappearing. With their albums, nominated for Poland’s most prestigious music awards, as well as concerts and workshops in over 20 countries, they enchant audiences from the USA to Japan, touching hearts with songs that transcend time and space. Listen to their music through the links below.
Laboratorium Pieśni leads traditional singing workshops, using author’s method of work with voice, body and breath, inspired by trainings of Centre for Theatre Practices GARDZIENICE and music works of Grotowski Institute, in its forest base in Brzezinka (Poland). Workshops are an opportunity to meet within a song, creating a space for free creativity for those, who have a natural need of vocal expression and would like to start (or continue) an adventure with the voice and traditional songs, as a material for work.
Workshops are led by the founders of Laboratorium Pieśni: Alina Jurczyszyn – The Academy for Theater Practices ‘Gardzienice’ graduate and Kamila Bigus – The Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdansk graduate. They are leading the project called ‘Akademia Laboratorium Pieśni’ (meaning: Academy of Song Laboratory) at the University of Gdansk, as well as organizing and leading workshops of traditional singing in other places.
The workshop will take place on the day of the concert, at 20:00 in Ljubljana. You will receive the exact location upon registration.
The workshop is intimate in nature, with only 30 spots available. Since we expect high demand, please reserve your spot as soon as possible.
The Laboratorium Pieśni concert will take place on Saturday, 18 April 2026 at 8 PM, at Festivalna dvorana in Ljubljana.

During this time, you can register calmly at the entrance and take a few moments to gently arrive in the space and settle into the energy of the evening. Ceremonial cacao and other refreshing drinks will be available for purchase.
The official program begins at 8 PM, when Laboratorium Pieśni will guide you through an extraordinary, heart-opening journey of traditional folk songs from around the world. We are preparing a truly unforgettable evening!

Our beautiful festival venue is located in Kostel, Slovenia - the green heart of Europe.

For all dog owners, we’ve partnered with Smrček Dog Hotel, which offers safe and loving care for your dog while you enjoy the festival.
Smrček Dog Hotel is located just over an hour’s drive from the festival venue (on the way if you're coming from Ljubljana) and provides full dog care for only €25 per day.

The festival takes place in all weather conditions. And honestly, based on our past festivals and events, we seem to have pretty good connections with the weather spirits ;)
In case of rain, there’s no need to worry. We have several large tents and covered areas across the festival grounds where you can comfortably move your body, attend workshops, or simply relax until the sun returns.
So come prepared, but trust that the spirits are usually on our side.
The campsite opens on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 4PM with an early arrival pass (25€ per person) and closes on Monday, August 10, at 10 AM.
Standard camping is included in the festival ticket; however you need to bring your own camping equipment.
The camping area is located in a pleasant, shaded shelter of the forest. The campsite is equipped with toilets, sinks, and showers. Please note that there is no hot water in the showers.
You can also stay in your campervan or sleep in your car. See below.
There is a special part of the campsite dedicated for campervans and cars.
If you are arriving at the festival with a campervan or planning to sleep in your car, you need to purchase a special ticket. There are three options available:
In each case, your vehicle will be parked inside the fenced area of the festival campsite.
You can get a campervan ticket at our ticket shop. The number of campervan parkings with electricity is limited.
Please note that the campervan area is separated from the tent area. You may set up a shade in front of your campervan or car, but you cannot camp together with friends who have tents.
If camping isn’t your thing, don’t worry – there are plenty of cozy accommodations available near the festival grounds.

Guardians Festival is a family-friendly festival that unites people who share a vision of a more loving world!
Our vision is to bring to life the world we all dream of during the festival—an experience so profound that every participant carries its essence into their daily life, inspiring them to create a more loving world wherever they go.
The name Guardians carries the essence of what the festival stands for. It reminds us to awaken and remember the inner Guardian within each of us, the one who protects life, the Earth, the sacred, the family, the circle of community, and the ancient ways of ceremony.
At the festival, we gather as guardians from all winds; keepers of wisdom, love, and presence, who remember that true guardianship begins within, through awareness, compassion, and conscious action.
Our logo, depicting Thoth, the ancient Egyptian god of wisdom and truth, symbolizes this timeless role of the guardian — the keeper of divine order, the bridge between heaven and earth, and the protector of the sacred.
