A first-of-its-kind experience in Slovenia!

We are preparing an intimate event that Slovenia has never experienced before.

TaOr Journey is a space where we gather in the forest around the fire and enter a “timeless time” together, allowing the moment to carry us through music, movement, and our shared intention.

TaOr invites participants into a deeply intentional musical space. A 15-hour journey designed to expand awareness, soften the heart, and reconnect us with the essence of being. Curated as a continuous flow, the set weaves organic and electronic soundscapes, world vocals, and prayers from the forest, guiding the audience through a ritual of movement, presence, and soul expression.

In this space, the dancefloor becomes a temple. The music becomes a vessel. Each moment invites participants to rise, open, breathe, and remember who they are.

Ori Bankhalter will be guiding the journey with music from Saturday evening until late Sunday morning.

The TaOr journey is held as an alcohol-free, adults-only space, without children or pets, allowing for a more focused and immersive experience. The space is held with care and intention, supported by experienced space holders who are present throughout the event, helping to create a respectful, grounded, and conscious environment for all participants.

Ori Bankhalter turns music into ceremony and the dancefloor into a temple.

Ori Bankhalter is a DJ whose sets have evolved into ceremonial journeys.

His performances are conceived as sacred consciousness travels, moving fluidly between styles, tempos, and emotional states. The dancefloor becomes a temple, and dancers move together with intention in their hearts. His sound weaves through different frequencies and inner landscapes, guiding the space through waves of feeling, presence, and release.

Ori is the creator and holder of unique ceremonial spaces, where he performs extended 15-hour journeys around a fire in the forest. These gatherings, known as TaOr Journey, are deep rituals in their own right — immersive, intentional, and rooted in collective presence and listening.

He has a rare ability to hold both heart and blessing within moments of inner ecstasy, creating spaces that are uplifting, grounded, and deeply connected.

Beyond his work as a DJ, Ori is the founder of TaOr Music, an independent label dedicated to producing, curating, and releasing high-quality conscious music. TaOr Music is steadily gaining international recognition within the global conscious music community.

An overnight journey beneath the open, star-filled sky.

We invite you to arrive from 16.00, settle into the forest, and gently land into space. From our experience, it is highly recommended to arrive while there is still daylight and ease into forest time.

A nourishing dinner will be served between 17.00–19.30. The kitchen will close until after the opening, so if it’s important for you to eat. Please arrive on time. Throughout the night, warm meals, hot and refreshing drinks, cacao, and light snacks will be available to purchase.

Around 20.00 we will gather in a circle around the fire and open the night together. We kindly ask everyone to arrive by 19.30 so we can begin the journey together. This is very important to us. Please do not arrive after the opening circle.

The TaOr journey will last until sunrise, without interruption. Everyone is warmly invited to experience it at their own pace.

During the journey, you are welcome to rest on your own mats under the open sky, so we recommend bringing everything you need for a comfortable night outdoors (blankets, pillows, warm clothing, sleeping bags, etc.), or reserving a tent (more info below).

Around 8.00 in the morning, we will have a closing integration circle, which also marks the official end of the event. This will be followed by breakfast, which is included in the ticket price. Afterwards, we will ease into an optional, relaxed late-morning gathering with music.

The overall program will conclude on Sunday around noon. Warm meals will be available for purchase until 13.30.

Those who wish are welcome to stay at the location (self-guided) until the end of the day, or even spend the night until Monday till 12.00. Please note that on Sunday afternoon and on Monday, food and drinks will no longer be provided by us. However, toilets, drinking water, and a summer outdoor kitchen will still be available.

A secret meadow in the heart of Slovenia.

The gathering will take place on a magical meadow in Slovenia, surrounded by dense forest and completely secluded, allowing us to fully relax and surrender to the journey.

What happens in case of bad weather?

Looking at our past festivals, we seem to have a pretty good connection with the weather spirits! ;) However, if severe weather is forecast, we may need to cancel the event. We will inform you of any changes in a timely manner—typically a few days in advance, once the forecast is reliable.

Can I get a refund if I can’t attend or if the event is canceled?

Refunds are not possible. In case you can’t attend, you are always welcome to sell or transfer your ticket to someone else. In case of bad weather your ticket payment will be kept as credit, which you can use toward any of our future events.

Where can I connect with the community?

Anyone who purchases a ticket is welcome to join the WhatsApp group we created for the night—for updates, directions, ride-sharing and communication. You are welcome to join and invite friends who are coming with you.

Once all payments have been completed, your festival tickets will be automatically generated by the system.

What is not included in the ticket price?

The festival ticket price does not include the following: early arrival pass (25€ per person), car parking (15€ per car), campervan parking (35€ per campervan), campervan parking with electricity (75€ per campervan), food and drinks, and there will be a few workshops and intimate ceremonies available for an additional cost.

What is the refund policy if I cannot attend the festival?

Refunds are only possible if you purchased ticket insurance at checkout through our ticket provider. All refund requests are handled exclusively by Booking Protect, the insurance company, and are subject to their specific terms and conditions.

If you did not purchase ticket insurance, refunds are not possible. However, you may resell your ticket if needed. Please note this is done at your own responsibility.

Will one-day tickets also be available?

Day tickets will be released closer to the festival, once the program is finalized. However, we truly recommend experiencing the full festival, as it is designed as a complete journey that brings the deepest transformation.

What activities and workshops will be available to participants?

Our team is already designing a diverse festival program that fully supports our mission of co-creating the world we all dream of! The program is divided into distinct sections and offers experiences, knowledge, and tools from renowned musicians, creators, and facilitators to empower participants to contribute to a more beautiful world, not only during the festival but also in their everyday lives.

Who are the performers at the festival?

Guardians Festival 2026 will bring an even richer program with incredible international and local artists, speakers, and visionaries — all to be revealed step by step.

For reference, the 2025 line-up featured Chantress Seba, Malte Marten, Natan Rabin, J Pool, Reinhard Buhr, Kora, and many more inspiring performers.

The full festival program by segments will be published closer to the festival.

Will there be activities for children and families?

Absolutely! Guardians Festival warmly welcomes families. We offer a variety of activities for adults, including music program, rituals and ceremonies, movement workshops, creative workshops, educational workshops, and a dedicated space for kids to explore, play, and connect.

At the main festival venue, there will be a special space Guardians Fairyland dedicated to kids aged 0 to 9, where both kids and their families can enjoy a variety of activities.

In the nearby forest, the secret Guardians Camp — guided by Matic Novak — will come to life during the festival, designed especially for kids aged 10 to 14. There, they will experience a diverse program of activities created to their age and curiosity.

Kids up to 14 years old have free entry to the festival.

How many stages are there at the festival, and what happens on each of them?

During Guardians Festival 2025, we created seven unique stages and spaces, each carrying its own energy and purpose. Together forming a multidimensional journey through music, workshops, and ceremonies.

  • Guardians – The festival’s main stage, home to larger activities, ecstatic dances, and musical performances that bring the community together.
  • Anubis – A ceremonial stage by the fire, hosting vocal workshops, sound baths, and ceremonial concerts under the open sky.
  • Sirius – Set by the Kolpa River and lit by a disco ball, this space features daytime electronic music, ecstatic dances, martial arts practices, and yoga sessions.
  • Amenti – Dedicated to movement and experiential workshops, where the body becomes a gateway to presence and flow.
  • Thoth – The educational temple of the festival, offering talks, lectures, panel discussions, and learning experiences that expand awareness.
  • Hathor – The creative space, where participants can express themselves through art, and co-creation workshops.
  • Gaia – A tipi tent with a sacred fire, hosting ceremonies, intimate rituals, and deep experiential workshops.

Not all stages may remain the same. In 2026, we are preparing an even deeper and more mystical experience, where each space will further evolve in its symbolism, purpose, and energy, inviting participants into an ever-expanding journey of transformation and unity.

Where and when does the festival take place?

Our beautiful festival venue is located in Kostel, Slovenia - the green heart of Europe.

Exact location: Fara 3, 1336 Kostel, Slovenia

Guardians Festival will take place from August 5 to 9, 2026.

We recommend arriving at the festival on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, in the morning to set up your tent or park your campervan in peace. The festival venue will open its doors on Wednesday at 8 AM, and the official festival program will begin at 10 AM.

Early arrival is also possible. See below.

Is early arrival possible?

Early arrival at Guardians Festival is possible from Tuesday, August 4, 2026, between 4 PM and 9 PM. The camp will be open and ready to welcome the first visitors. By securing an early arrival pass, you also get the chance to choose the best camping spot.

However, an early arrival pass will be required for this extra day of camping. The early arrival pass costs 25€ per person. Kids up to 14 years old have free early arrival pass and entry to the festival. Note that the main festival venue opens the following day, Wednesday, August 5, 2026. There will be no festival program on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

You can get an early arrival pass at our ticket shop.

Is there parking available at the festival?

Parking is located near the campsite and festival venue. A parking ticket is required to park there.

Parking tickets are available for 15€ and can be purchased at our ticket shop.

Where can we purchase food and drinks at the festival?

Guardians Festival unites passionate chefs who will be preparing delicious and healthy food at the Food point, with a variety of vegan options available.

At the Fresh Point, our team will treat you with refreshing drinks, fresh fruit, and delicious chickpea vegan ice cream.

Both the Food Point and Fresh Point are located at the main festival venue.

Are dogs or animals allowed?

Although we are all passionate animal lovers, we have decided this year to prohibit dogs and other animals from entering the camping site and festival venue. This decision was made primarily for the safety of our little ones.

For all dog owners, we’ve partnered with Smrček Dog Hotel, which offers safe and loving care for your dog while you enjoy the festival.

Smrček Dog Hotel is located just over an hour’s drive from the festival venue (on the way if you're coming from Ljubljana) and provides full dog care for only €25 per day.

You can find more information on their website. For reservations or additional questions, contact them at +386 41 471 234 or via email at s3tof@siol.net.

What happens in case of rain or bad weather?

The festival takes place in all weather conditions. And honestly, based on our past festivals and events, we seem to have pretty good connections with the weather spirits ;)

In case of rain, there’s no need to worry. We have several large tents and covered areas across the festival grounds where you can comfortably move your body, attend workshops, or simply relax until the sun returns.

So come prepared, but trust that the spirits are usually on our side.

What are the camping options at the festival?

The campsite opens on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 4PM with an early arrival pass (25€ per person) and closes on Monday, August 10, at 10 AM.

Standard camping is included in the festival ticket; however you need to bring your own camping equipment.

The camping area is located in a pleasant, shaded shelter of the forest. The campsite is equipped with toilets, sinks, and showers. Please note that there is no hot water in the showers.

You can also stay in your campervan or sleep in your car. See below.

Can I stay in my campervan or sleep in a car at the festival?

There is a special part of the campsite dedicated for campervans and cars.

If you are arriving at the festival with a campervan or planning to sleep in your car, you need to purchase a special ticket. There are three options available:

  • Sleeping in a car / Tent on a car (35 €)
  • Campervan parking - regular (35€)
  • Campervan parking - with electricity (75€)

In each case, your vehicle will be parked inside the fenced area of the festival campsite.

You can get a campervan ticket at our ticket shop. The number of campervan parkings with electricity is limited.

Please note that the campervan area is separated from the tent area. You may set up a shade in front of your campervan or car, but you cannot camp together with friends who have tents.

What other accommodation options are available?

If camping isn’t your thing, don’t worry – there are plenty of cozy accommodations available near the festival grounds.

You can find a full list of nearby hosts, along with their contact details for inquiries and bookings, at the following link.

What are the nearest airports to the festival venue?
